 *Indian Buddhist Mahasabha Celebrates Mahila Mukti Day*

Mumbai - On December 25, 1927, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar burnt Manusmriti, which inhumane treatment of all women and untouchables, every year Mahila Mukti Day is celebrated this year.

95th Mahila Mukti Day on Sunday 25 December 2022 on behalf of the Central Women's Division of The Buddhist Society of India (Indian Buddhist Mahasabha). It was held at Babasaheb Ambedkar Bhawan, Gokuldas Pasta Road, Dadar (East), Mumbai. It was inaugurated by the Trustee of the Institute and International Secretary Ayushman Captain Pravin Nikhade. Pravin Nikhade said in the opening speech that Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar should be respected because the untouchable caste has been given respect, so we should tell the women of other communities about the work of Babasaheb Ambedkar. National Vice President and Head of Central Women's Department Sushmatai Pawar presided over this program. The statues of Tathagata Buddha, Dr. Babasaheb and Mata Ramai were worshiped by him and after collective salutation, female soldiers and officers of Samata Sainik Dal paid tributes under the leadership of Assistant Lieutenant General Chandatai Kasle of Samata Sainik Dal. Vaishalitai Ahire, Member of Central Women's Department, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar While giving guidance on why Manusmriti was burnt, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar said that because of the inhuman law written by Manu against women and untouchables in Manusmriti, women and untouchables were thrown out through the Constitution by burning Manusmriti. Raginitai Pawar, the central member of the organization and deputy head of the Central Women's Department, informed about the rights and privileges given to women by the Indian Constitution and by giving rights to women, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar awakened the feeling that we are not less by empowering everyone today.

  Ujwalatai Kharat, a member of the Central Women's Department, gave good information about the challenges and solutions faced by Indian women and gave good information about what action should be taken under which section, thus creating enthusiasm among the women. National Vice President and Staff Officer of Samata Sainik Dal S.K.Bhandare while giving greetings said that Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar 25th December is the birth day of Jesus who gave equality between men and women and the suppoter of Jesus to oppose the British and Mahatma Jyoti Rao as the British did not establish equality in India. Phule had said that Manusmriti should be burnt on 25th December so Dr. Babasaheb said that Manusmriti was burnt on 25th December and today he asserted that it is necessary for parents to give equal treatment to sons and daughters in their homes. Article distributed. Sushmatai Pawar, in her presidential speech, said that we too have to work with confidence and fearlessness, citing examples from history. Maharashtra state branch gave books for the dignitaries in this program and Mumbai region branch gave stage material etc. Also Kunal Bhoir of Bahujan Samaj in Palghar donated 50 copies of this book to the women's department because of the radical change between Bahujan Samaj Kunal Bhoir. Central Women's Department Member Sunandatai Waghmare introduced the program. Central Women's Department Member Swatitai Shinde thanked all the participants.

Acharya (Headquarters Secretary), Mohan Sawant (Headquarters Deputy Secretary), Chanda Nilesh Kasle (Asst. Lt. General/ Central Member), Sunil Bansode (Central Training Department Member), Ravindra Ingle (Defence Secretary - Maharashtra State), Vilas Khade (Treasurer - Mumbai) Region), Vilas Dhoble (Vice President-Mumbai Region), Pandharinath Kamble Shahaji Magare etc.

मुंबई - डॉ बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर यांनी 25 डिसेंबर 1927 रोजी संपूर्ण  महिला ना व अस्पृश्यांना अमानुष वागणूक देणाऱ्या मनुस्मृती चे दहन केल्याने दरवर्षी महिला मुक्ती दिन साजरा केला जात असतो याही वर्षी 

दि बुद्धिस्ट सोसायटी ऑफ इंडिया (भारतीय बौद्ध महासभा) च्या  केंद्रीय महिला विभागाच्या वतीने रविवार 25 डिसेंबर 2022 रोजी 95 वा महिला मुक्ती दिन डाॅ. बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर भवन, गोकुळदास पास्ता रोड, दादर (पूर्व), मुंबई येथे आयोजित केला होता , त्यांचे उदघाटन संस्थेचे ट्रस्टी व आंतरराष्ट्रीय सचिव आयुष्यमान कॅप्टन प्रविण निखाडे यांनी केले , डॉ बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर यांनी ब्राम्हण समाजाचे गंगाधर नीलकंठ सह्स्रबुद्धे यांच्या हस्ते मनुस्मृतीचे दहन करून समस्त स्त्रीयांना व अस्पृश्य जातीला सन्मान दिला आहे त्यामुळे डॉ बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर यांना सन्मान  पाहिजे त्यासाठी आपण इतर समाजाच्या महिलांना बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर यांच्या कार्याची माहिती सांगितली पाहिजे असे प्रविण  निखाडे यांनी    उदघाटनपर भाषणात सांगितले. या कार्यक्रमाच्या अध्यक्षस्थानी राष्ट्रीय उपाध्यक्ष व केंद्रीय महिला विभाग प्रमुख सुषमाताई पवार होत्या .भन्ते विशुद्ध बोधी,कॅप्टन प्रविण निखाडे (ट्रस्टी व आंतरराष्ट्रीय सचिव ),सुषमाताई पवार (राष्ट्रीय उपाध्यक्ष व केंद्रीय महिला विभाग प्रमुख ) व एस के भंडारे ( राष्ट्रीय उपाध्यक्ष व स्टाफ ऑफिसर )यांच्या हस्ते तथागत बुद्ध ,डॉ बाबासाहेब व माता रमाई यांच्या प्रतिमांचे  पूजन झाले व सामुहिक वंदनेनंतर समता सैनिक दलाच्या  महिला सैनिक व अधिकारी यांनी समता सैनिक दलाच्या असि.लेफ्टनंट जनरल  चंदाताई कासले यांच्या नेतृत्वात  मानवंदना दिली.केंद्रीय महिला विभागाच्या सदस्या  वैशालीताई अहिरे यांनी डॉ बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर यांनी मनुस्मृति दहन का केली या विषयावर मार्गदर्शन करताना मनुने मनुस्मृति मध्ये स्रिया व अस्पृश्य  विरोधात लिहीलेले अमानुष कायद्यामुळे  डॉ बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर यांनी  मनुस्मृति जाळून संविधानाच्या माध्यमातून महिला व अस्पृश्यांना बाहेर काढले असे  सांगितले. संस्थेच्या केंद्रीय सदस्य व केंद्रीय महिला विभागाच्या उपप्रमुख  रागिणीताई पवार यांनी भारतीय संविधानाने स्रियांना दिलेले हक्क व अधिकार  कोणकोणते आहेत त्याची माहिती दिली व महिलांना हक्क  देऊन डॉ बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर यांनी आज सर्वांना सक्षम करून आम्हीही कुठे कमी नाही ही भावना जागृत केली.

 केंद्रीय महिला विभागाच्या सदस्य उज्वलाताई खरात यांनी भारतीय स्रियांसमोरील आव्हाने व उपाय या विषयावर वेगवेगळे उदाहरण देऊन कोणत्या कलमा अंतर्गत काय कारवाई करावी त्याची चांगली माहिती सांगितली त्यामुळे महिलांमध्ये उत्साह निर्माण झाला. तसेच यावेळी संस्थेचे  

राष्ट्रीय उपाध्यक्ष व समता सैनिक दलाचे  स्टाफ ऑफिसर  एस.के.भंडारे यांनी  शुभेच्छा देताना असे सांगितले की, डॉ बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर यांनी  25 डिसेंबर हा स्त्री पुरुष समानता देणाऱ्या येशूचा जन्म दिवस असून येशूचे पुरस्कर्त्या  ब्रिटिशांनी भारतात समता प्रस्थापित केली नाही म्हणून ब्रिटिशांना विरोध करण्यासाठी आणि महात्मा ज्योतीराव फुले  यांनी 25 डिसेंबर रोजी   मनुस्मृती जाळली पाहिजे असे म्हटले होते म्हणून डॉ बाबासाहेब यांनी  मनुस्मृति  25 डिसेंबर रोजी दहन केली असे सांगितले व आज  आई- वडील यांनी  आपल्या घरात मुलगा -मुलगी यांना समान वागणूक देणे गरजेचे असल्याचे प्रतिपादन केले.त्यांनी  स्रिया व बालकांचे घटनात्मक अधिकार या लेखाचे वाटप केले. सुषमाताई पवार यांनी अध्यक्षीय भाषणात, इतिहासाचे दाखले देऊन आपणासही आत्मविश्वासाने व निर्भीडपणे काम करावे लागेल असे सांगितले. महाराष्ट्र राज्य शाखेने या कार्यक्रमातील मान्यवरांसाठी पुस्तके दिली व मुंबई प्रदेश शाखेने स्टेज साहित्य इत्यादी दिले .तसेच पालघर येथील बहुजन समाजाचे कुणाल भोईर यांच्यात बहुजनांचे मारेकरी या पुस्तकाने आमूलाग्र बदल झाल्याने या  पुस्तकाच्या 50 प्रती  महिला विभागाला दान दिल्या .संपूर्ण कार्यक्रमाचे सूत्रसंचालन केंद्रीय  महिला विभागाच्या  सचिव भारतीताई शिराळ यांनी केले.केंद्रीय महिला विभाग सदस्य सुनंदाताई वाघमारे यांनी कार्यक्रमाचे प्रास्ताविक केले.केंद्रीय महिला विभाग सदस्य  स्वातीताई शिंदे यांनी सर्व उपस्थितांचे आभार व्यक्त केले.

तसेच मुंबई, ठाणा, नवी मुंबई, पालघर येथून पदाधिकारी, सैनिक, ऑफिसर , उपासक, उपासिका मोठ्या संखेने उपस्थित होते.
