On the occasion of the 125th birth anniversary of Mata Ramai, 'Bhavya Mahila Melawa' was concluded at Malgaon on behalf of the Buddhist Society of India District Branch Sangli. The gathering was concluded under the chairmanship of Honorable Kamaltai Khandekar, Vice President of Women's Department.
Respected S. K. Bhandare (National Vice President and Staff Officer, Samata Sainik Dal) Respected Sushmatai Pawar (National Vice President and Head of Central Women's Department), Adv.S.S. Wankhade (National Secretary and Head of Central Training Department) Hon'ble Bhikaji Kamble (Chairman, Maharashtra State) led the gathering.
Respected.S. K. Bhandare, while guiding the issue of rights and rights given to women by the Indian Constitution, said that, 'Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar brought equality for women without any discrimination between men and women.' Also, the supporters of Chaturvarna system who came to power are talking about bringing the constitution of the country based on Manusmriti, so that the rights and rights given by the constitution do not end, we have to fight for the participation of women.
Venerable Sushmatai Pawar guided the life of Tyaga Murthy Mata Ramai. Giving examples of how Mata Ramai sacrificed and gave energy to Babasaheb, Ramji Baba, children and society by putting her own sorrows aside, she appealed to women to participate in large numbers to speed up the Dhamma movement.
Adv.S. S.Wankhade gave guidance on the contribution of women in the Dhamma movement. From Migarmata Vishakha to Mahaupasika Meeratai Ambedkar's era till today, he called for the Dhamma Revolution of Dr. Ambedkar. Babasaheb Ambedkar to be more dynamic by increasing the participation of women.
Venerable Bhikaji Kamble gave guidance on the special features of Buddhist Dhamma. Dhamma tells how man should treat man, saying that there is equality between men and women in Dhamma and asserted that the world has no alternative to Buddhism.
In the gathering everyone read the Preamble of the Indian Constitution by District President Rupesh Tamgaonkar and took oath.
