तथागताच्या अस्थी घेऊन निघालेल्या थायलंड येथील भिक्खू संघाचे दिनांक १५/२/२०२३ रोजी चैत्यभूमी दादर येथे आगमन होत आहे.भिक्खू संघाचे स्वागत करण्या संदर्भात नियोजन बैठक आंबेडकर भवन दादर येथे संपन्न झाली.
भारतीय बौद्ध महासभेचे उपाध्यक्ष आदरणीय एस के भंडारे साहेब यांच्या अध्यक्षतेखाली सभा संपन्न झाली.
सभेत ठरल्याप्रमाणे तात्काळ पुढील आदेश प्रसिद्ध करण्यात आला आहे.
A group of monks from Thailand who left with the remains of the Tathagata are arriving at Chaityabhoomi Dadar on 15/2/2023. A planning meeting was held at Ambedkar Bhavan Dadar to welcome the Bhikkhu Sangha.
The meeting was concluded under the chairmanship of Honorable S.K. Bhandare Saheb, Vice President of The Buddhist society of India .
As decided in the meeting the following order has been published immediately.
On behalf of The Buddhist Society of India (Indian Buddhist Mahasabha) and in association with Gagan Malik Foundation India, the Buddhist Dhammapada Yatra with the sacred bones of Lord Buddha brought from Thailand was inaugurated at Parbhani on 17.01.2023 by Dr. Bhimrao P. Ambedkar (National Working President, The Buddhist Society of India) has been traveling on foot till date. In this Dhammapada Yatra, 110 Buddhist monks from Thailand are participating in the Dhammapada Yatra. In Maharashtra, branches of Indian Buddhist Mahasabha and in every district have welcomed the people.
This historic Dhammapada Yatra will arrive on Wednesday, 15.02.2023 at Chaityabhoomi, Dadar, Mumbai. In the Dhammapada Yatra which concluded at Chaityabhoomi, Dadar, all the soldiers, officers and officials, activists of the Indian Buddhist Mahasabha and Samata Sainik Dal in the districts of Mumbai city, Navi Mumbai, Thane, Palghar, Raigad North, in their identity cards and uniform, went to Ramabai Nagar, Ghatkopar (East). Attend here at 9.30 am and arrange security properly.
The presence of all the soldiers and officers till the conclusion of the ceremony at Chaityabhoomi
is mandatory. Donors are kindly requested to note that Buddhist monks participating in the Dhammapada yatra only accept donations of drinkable food.
